DIVISION 46 - FASHION REVUE CONTEST
ENTRY DEADLINE FOR FASHION REVIEW IS ON OR BEFORE: Friday July 13,
2007 at 5 p.m. All contestants must participate in the public revue in
order to receive ribbons. In order to collect prize money, projects must
be turned in on Monday, July 23 and be on exhibit at the Fair through
Sunday, July 29, 2007. A description of every garment to be modeled must
be brought with you on judging day.
Description will be read as you write them. NO DESCRIPTION
WILL BE RE-WRITTEN.
FASHION REVUE JUDGING TIMETABLE
FASHION REVUE JUDGING DAY:
Wednesday, July 18th 9:00 a.m.
Public Fashion Review - Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
Multipurpose Building, Park County Fairgrounds, Powell.
Participants be in the Powell Extension Office by 6:30 p.m. dressed and
ready to style.
CONSTRUCTION
RULES:
1. All members enrolled in P.A.C.T. are eligible to compete in the
Fashion Revue contest.
2. Fashion Revue contestants will be judged by two adult judges.
3. 4-H members will be interviewed.
4. All members must provide a narration/script for each outfit in the
constructed division and for each outfit in the ready-to-wear division.
5. Members entering the ready-to-wear division must submit an entrant
application. Application packets are available through the 4-H Extension
office.
6. Score sheets are available through the 4-H Extension office.
a. The constructed division uses the following scoring system:
i. Model Grooming and Poise - 25 points
ii. Style and Fabric Selection - 25 points
iii. Construction as Judged on Model - 25
points
iv. Fit - 25 points
7. Special awards are provided by the 4-H Council.
8. Models earning a purple are eligible to compete at the state contest.
The state 4-H office sets a county quota.
9. Funding for state representative depends on funds available through
the 4-H Council.
10. All contestants must participate in the public show in order to
receive ribbons and premiums.
11. A separate entry must be made for each garment, i.e. a Junior member
has two constructed garments - he/she must enter in twice.
12. Don't forget to enter garments in division 34 as well.
Class:
1. Junior (8 - 10 years old)
2. Intermediates (11 - 13 years old)
3. Seniors (14 - 19 years old)
READY-TO-WEAR
